Membership
Any individual who wishes membership must submit a membership application. There is a onetime registration fee. $30.00 for Adults, $25.00 for Children (Under 12).
We require no contracts. If you haven’t been physically active in a while, we recommend you check with your physician before beginning the rigorous training of Shotokan Karate.
Our members pay dues at the beginning of each month. These fees go toward paying for facilities and expenses. Dues are $75.00 for Adults and $45.00 for Children.
Students that want to take an examination for advancement (when eligible) must become a member of the ISKF prior to grading. An individual ISKF membership fee is $40.00 per year. This payment is due when you take the first examination. This entitles you to an ISKF membership card and a periodic ISKF newsletter. Exams are held the last Monday of each month. The cost of an exam is $40.00. The minimum class requirements for examination are Children 45 classes during a four month period. Adult 30 classes during a three month period. All examinees must be approved by two instructors.
For your first few classes, we recommend that you wear comfortable clothing like a sweat suit. Afterwards you can purchase a karate uniform (Gi) which is available at G.S.K.C. or any martial arts supply company.

Thursday Advanced class 3rd kyu and higher 7:00PM - 8:00PM
Saturday 10:45AM–12:00PM
